John Timpson, the businessman behind high street retailer Timpson, will be the high profile keynote speaker at this year’s Rawlinsons Business Conference in Peterborough next month.
He will share his own thoughts on the secrets to business success and reflect on a lifetime working in the competitive retail world on Britain’s high streets.
The conference, at Kingsgate Conference Centre, will take place on Thursday, March 30 and is free to attend. The last two annual conferences organised by city accountancy firm Rawlinsons has attracted around 100 local businesses.
In addition to the keynote speaker, there will be a series of presentations and break-out session focusing on:
- business priorities in Cambridgeshire
- a budget and tax update
- sources of funding
- exit strategy planning
- making the most of your marketing budget
- tackling cyber threats
- future proofing your finance function
- general data protection regulation
Guest break-out speakers are from the Local Enterprise Partnership, Allia Future Business Centre, Barclays, PilotFish, Rawlinsons, Cambridgeshire Police, Natwest Bank, Media Matters and Keith Markham Training Services.
